Tata Technologies Sees India as Next Auto Hub as Funds Add Shares

MUMBAI, June 20, 2026, 18:44 IST Tata Technologies is pitching India as the next major automotive engineering and investment hub after China, arguing that global carmakers need both a large growth market and a place where they can scale technical teams quickly. “After China, I think many customers, OEMs, manufacturers are viewing India as the next big story now,” Nachiket Paranjpe, president of global industries and ESS delivery, told ETAuto. OEMs are carmakers; Paranjpe also said virtual engineering and simulation were helping clients cut vehicle-development cycles by roughly 40%.
